This blog is all about the fine art of monochrome photography. It includes hints and tips on composition and digital darkroom processes, achievements and images I'm pleased with, musings about this and that and items I find interesting.
I'm quite happy for it to grow like topsy, to evolve as it goes...

Another from the Jazz Fest
...and finally, from The Steve Tucker All Star Jazz Band...
I love this photo - there's a lot going on in the way of texture and pattern. My site features a b&w Wednesday, so feel free to come over and browse. I would love to share my work with another like-minded soul. www.4pointsphotography.blogspot.com.
Mark, Another nice Black and White. I clicked on the image to see a closer view. Even the reflection of the brass trumpet is well exposed and not blown out! Very nice.

Thanks for noticing Dan :) The advantages of shooting in RAW...
...love this photo...the round design in the background and the round horn on the trumpet feel good!
Thanks Kelly - when I was composing the shot, the 'flare' on the window put me in mind of the sound coming out of the trumpet.
