This blog is all about the fine art of monochrome photography. It includes hints and tips on composition and digital darkroom processes, achievements and images I'm pleased with, musings about this and that and items I find interesting.
I'm quite happy for it to grow like topsy, to evolve as it goes...

Burgh Island Hotel Stretched Canvas Print
Pic of the day
Here's my chosen picture of the day for this blog and I hope you enjoy it. It's presented as a fine art wrapped canvas. Click to see it from different angles and customize with your size.
Burgh Island Hotel is an iconic landmark just (literally) off the coast of south Devon. The island is joined to the mainland at low tide but gets cut off an hour or so after the turn. In the art nouveau style, the hotel has been graced by many noted guests including Agatha Christie and Noel Coward.
